The counterpart to my Ringy snares pack, the complete opposite kind of drum sound. Low-tuned, punchy FAT snares. Some are totally dampened with the 70's insert on a snare weight, some just a little length control, all of them punch right through a mix. Here's a collection of 7 of my favourite fat snare drum samples captured over the past year. These samples were recorded at my studio, The Chairworks, through an SSL G+ console with Neve, API, SSL and Great River preamps and enough SSL EQ to get you close to the finish line without painting you into a corner. The samples are in .TCI format for Slate Trigger, with a ten velocity round robin and come as Snare Top, Bottom, Overheads and Room configurations. *Drum beat in the video played by my fave guy Peter McLeod from Jools*
